Well I think that there are over 10,000+ people on here and someone is bound to hurt you, upset you etc... And not that I agree with them as to a "HIT" on someone as you call it, yet some people do look at it as just the "NET" and they are not really hurting anyone they are just roleplaying, and myself I think role playing is dumb, yet that is me.



Bottom line not all of us are gonna be happy at the same time nor are we gonna be sa/mad at the same time.....



Yet, the Rave will keep growing strong no matter what...



I mean I just laugh at it all cause it is the net and rating is over rated on here in my opinion, cause we are here for ourselves, and not others.



So if they feel that gives them control in some way..

When I visit profiles here I start to wonder...



Do I look like an ungrateful person?



Because these profiles are loaded with pride images, crests, and protection stamps....



I don't have any of them >.>



I am extremely proud of being in House Eternal. I just think simply having the hamster under my name is enough. If you really want to know how much I love it, go take a look at the members page and see how many posts I have.



I don't have any protection stamps on my profile either. I try to put those in my journal more since they tend to be laggy. I love my friends on here a lot, I just don't love them enough to lag my profile. lol



I don't know...I just feel so odd because when you come to my page it is about me. Not anyone else but me.



Hell I'm like this on Imps Village. My siggy there doesn't have my guild on it. Even though I'm a very proud officer in it. :/



Oh yeah...my stamp doesn't even mention anything about the site. It just says you were rated by me.

It's your profile. Isn't it supposed to be about you?



Last time I checked, the purpose of a profile was to help people get to know you... not to give people 100 meaningless quiz results, show off other peoples' graphics work, stamps, etc... or brag about the society you happen to be in.



Having pride in those things is fine... but like you said, isn't that what a journal is for?



I always tell new members, make your profile uniquely you. Don't worry about the graphics and glitter... don't worry about your rate... just make it you.

Ditto to all of the above. Seriously, there are times where I think people forget the societies are simply for more enjoyment- and because they forget that- they forget the bigger picture. Besides, what you do share with us is far more important than having a symbol on your profile.

Is it just me, or are a lot of people's profiles a clusterfuck?



Maybe it is the lack of sleep, but how the hell can you cram so much useless, meaningless crap in one profile?



No one really cares to see pictures you obviously jacked from dA or photofuckit.



Nor do they want to watch their computer crash from the attempts to load that shit.



More people should have their profile organized. Like mine... All neat, compact, and easy to load.
